AAJ KA PANCHANG, 15 MAY, 2024: The Ashtami Tithi of Shukla Paksha is set to occur on Wednesday, May 15, as per Drik Panchang. Shukla Ashtami holds significance for initiating important activities as it falls within shubh muhurat timings. On this day, two auspicious festivals, Bagalamukhi Jayanti and Masik Durgashtami, will be observed.

Hence, when scheduling any event or activity, it’s essential to consider not only the tithi but also the auspicious or inauspicious timings associated with it.

SUNRISE, SUNSET, MOONRISE, AND MOONSET ON MAY 15

The sun is expected to rise at approximately 5:48 AM and set at around 7:08 PM. Conversely, the moon is forecasted to rise at 12:09 PM and set at 1:34 AM on May 16.

TITHI, NAKSHATRA, AND RASHI DETAILS FOR MAY 15

The Ashtami Tithi is expected to extend throughout the entire night. During this period, the unfavourable Ashlesha Nakshatra will persist until 3:25 PM, after which the inauspicious Magha Nakshatra will commence. The moon will be in Karka Rashi until 3:25 PM before transitioning to Simha Rashi. Meanwhile, the sun will remain in Vrishabha Rashi.

SHUBH MUHURAT FOR MAY 15

Brahma Muhurta is slated to take place from 4:22 AM to 5:05 AM, followed by the Vijaya Muhurta from 2:41 PM to 3:34 PM, and the Godhuli Muhurat from 7:06 PM to 7:28 PM. ASHUBH MUHURAT FOR MAY 15
