Sony has announced a limited-time, limited-quantity, Summer sale offer for the newly released PS5 Slim gaming console in India.

Sony has announced “Summer Sale” discounts in India for its recently launched PlayStation 5 Slim gaming console. The PS5 Slim console’s Disc version will be available at a reduced price of Rs 49,990 during the sale period. The summer sale will start from May 1 and go until May 14. It is important to note that the offer does not apply to all models, and Sony is only selling a limited number of units.

In case you don’;t know, Sony launched the PlayStation 5 Slim in India earlier this month for Rs 44,990 for the digital edition and Rs 54,990 for the disc version.

PlayStation 5 Slim Series Offer and Availability

The PlayStation 5 Slim (Disc version) is available at a price of Rs 54,990. Meanwhile, the offer price is Rs 49,990. Furthermore, the PlayStation 5 Slim Digital Edition is priced at Rs 44,990.

In addition, the PS5 Slim (Disc version) will be offered at a discount on e-commerce platforms such as Flipkart, Amazon India, fast commerce site BlinkIt, and select stores like Reliance Digital, Croma, Vijay Sales, and others. The summer offer will be active from Wednesday, May 1 until Tuesday, May 14, or until supplies last.

PlayStation 5 Slim Series Features

Compared to the PlayStation 5 model that came before it, the PS5 Slim has a slim design and 30 per cent less volume intake. The model, which includes an integrated disc drive, is 18 per cent lighter than its predecessor, while the Digital Edition is 30 percent lighter than the model from the previous generation. Compared to 825GB on the previous model, the PlayStation 5 Slim series offers up to 1TB of onboard storage.

When playing games that support up to 120Hz output on a 4K resolution monitor, the PlayStation 5 can deliver up to 120 frames per second (FPS). For a more vivid visual experience, the console has HDR support. It also has Ray Tracing technology, which replicates each and every light ray in compatible games to provide more realistic shadows and reflections.
